How much does a website cost?

Our websites start from $300, but don't let that fool you. Every site is custom-coded from scratch, never assembled from copy-paste templates, so your site is genuinely unique to your business. A landing/display page starts from $300, a content & gallery site from $500, and a booking site from $1,000; online shops are custom-scoped. You'll always get a fixed quote up front before any work begins.

When do I pay?

For builds of $500 or more, a deposit (usually half) locks in your spot and starts the work. For anything under $500, there's nothing to pay up front. The remaining balance is only due once your site is built, you've seen it, and you're happy, and your custom domain goes live at that point, never before.

Question 3

Can I spread the design cost instead of paying it all upfront?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you'd rather not pay the design cost in one go, it can be rolled into your monthly hosting plan, for example, a $600 design spread over 12 months adds around $50/month on top of your chosen plan. There's no minimum term, and you can pay off the remaining balance at any time to stop the extra charge.

Is the $100 launch offer real, or is there a catch?

It's completely real, and there's no catch. It's our $500 website package plus several months of hosting, offered at launch so we can build up a community of happy clients. You and your website are treated exactly the same as any full-price client, same care, same quality. All we ask in return is that you help us establish ourselves by leaving an honest review once your build is done.

Do I own my website?

Accepted Answer

Always. No matter which plan you're on, you own the code to your website, we'll send you the files any time you ask. If you're paying off your build monthly, the remaining balance can be settled whenever you like, and the site is yours to take with you.

Am I locked into a contract?

Accepted Answer

No. There's no fixed hosting term, you're free to leave at any time. If your design is still being paid off, you simply settle the remaining balance at that point, and the site is yours to take with you.

Question 7

How long does a website take to build?

Accepted Answer

We aim to have display and content sites ready within 5 business days. Booking sites with a backend are usually closer to 10. Online shops vary a lot depending on scope.

Question 8

Is my site AI-generated?

Accepted Answer

No. Your site is started and finished by a real person. We do use AI tools to help with debugging, formatting, auditing, SEO and some of the repetitive work, that's part of how we keep our prices low, but the actual design and build is always done by us. Your website is never "AI-generated", we do the heavy lifting.

What if I want changes after the site is live?

Accepted Answer

Content changes are no problem. On our hosting plans we include weekly changes and additions, adding or removing images, tweaking layouts, even adding new pages. We don't like nickel-and-diming for minor edits, so those are included if you host with us. Larger changes might need a quick conversation first, but we'll always talk it through.

Do I need to provide my own text and photos?

You can provide as much or as little as you like. The more you share, the more we can tailor the site to you, but if you're not sure what to include, that's completely fine, we'll help. And if there's anything you're not happy with during the revision stage before the site goes live, we'll gladly change it.

How do you deliver websites so quickly compared to other companies?

We deliberately work with only a few clients at a time. That means everyone gets our full attention and top-quality results, in timeframes that beat most agencies.

Are there limits to the kinds of websites you can build?

We haven't hit one yet. With experienced developers behind us, we can work out almost anything, from high-end animations to complex backends and full web apps. Whatever you have in mind, we'll make a plan for it.

Do you only build websites, or other things too?

Accepted Answer

We do a lot of web design, but we also offer nearly all the essential tech services a small business needs, business email, Microsoft 365 setup, domain management and ongoing support. Anything you'd rather not deal with, or aren't sure how to do, we're here for.

Where are you based, and do we need to meet in person?

Accepted Answer

We're based in Taranaki and work remotely with businesses across all of New Zealand, so no in-person meeting is needed.

Will my new website actually show up on Google?

Accepted Answer

We're a new business without a portfolio of client results to point to yet, so we won't quote you numbers we can't back up. What we can tell you exactly is how every site gets built: clean, semantic code search engines can actually read, a submitted sitemap, proper meta titles and descriptions, and fast page loads, the same fundamentals search engines and AI tools have always rewarded. That groundwork is included in every package, not an upsell. On our Standard hosting plan and above, we also check keywords and trends weekly so your site keeps pace with how people are actually searching.
